In my images, pain is beauty and eroticism is a psychological way of life. This is how I express myself, my intimate inner life. The majority of my works are deliberately set in water. I believe that in many aspects, water is the best way for me to recreate my ideas and convey what I carry inside of me. Water is my element; I find it immensely inspiring. I love how transparent and pure light in water is, the way it gets refracted and transformed when in contact with another medium. Life emerges from water, it possesses such power and is full of tremendous energy. Water gives pleasure and delight, it gives life, but it also poses a risk, it is a threat that can destroy us. I believe that water is a highly erotic element precisely because of the opposites it brings together. Water quenches our thirst and saves us. It represents our lust for life, our craving for love, the eternal struggle to erase, dull or heal the pain, the sadness, the loneliness…
