Blurb/Shorttext:
Carolin is an internationally published and awarded artist born in Germany, living and working in Iceland as a freelancing photographer. She has lived with animals all her life and has been especially fascinated by horses for as long as she can remember. They have not only been a big part of her daily life but also became one of the biggest sources of inspiration for her work and life in general. As a self-taught photographer, she started her own business in 2018, which is now so much more than a job: It´s a place of happiness, her biggest passion, and a life full of amazing stories. Get inspired by one of the most special horse breeds of today: The Icelandic horse – a breed of raw strength combined with a heart of gold. The displayed photographs tell the stories of unique personalities and untamed souls together with the breathtaking Nordic landscape and take you to experience a world full of adventures far up north. Some of the images have been taken on horseback while riding, others while only watching the horses and spending time with the herd, and at any time created with the greatest respect and sensitivity for nature and the animals.
