Blurb/Shorttext:
HIGH COMFORT is a Los Angeles-based clothing brand and personal practice by visual artist Dewey Saunders, who is best known for his award-winning graphic design and art direction work within the music industry for an abundance of artists including Future, Turnstile, and Anderson. Paak, alongside iconic brands like Ray-Ban, Vans, and Vanity Fair.
High Comfort originated as a side project in 2020 as a vehicle for visual imagery reflecting another side of Dewey’s design practice, running parallel to his vintage collage style while also focusing keenly on typography, letterforms, logo lockups and halftone images– all mashed together with a spiritual and psychedelic reverence for its various sources.
High Comfort has since expanded production to home goods, printed publications, blankets and accessories, along with its core collection of creature comforts. The apparel has found its way onto cultural fixtures Isaiah Rashad, Keke Palmer, Stimulator Jones, SpydaTek, AbJo, and Huey Briss. Through out-of-the-box graphics, messaging and presentation, High Comfort has evolved into a far-reaching concept, blending a universal desire for peace of mind with garments that allow one to move more freely through the world.
