“Habibi" is my homage to this land, a place that leaves an indelible mark that is hard to forget; selecting these shots made me relive the stories, emotions, and experiences that I collected on my last trip. Marrakech shows here its many nuances and fascinating contrasts: the narrow and chaotic streets of the Medina, its souks and the quiet of the terraces overlooking the Atlas Mountains, the warm and enveloping light that covers the entire city and its shades of sunsets; the mesmerizing chaos of traffic and the silence of the desert on the outskirts of the city. The simplest and most ordinary actions are transformed into fascinating and exotic experiences in this place; like simply pausing to listen to the powerful call of the muezzin that rises above the buzz of the city. The city speaks a mesmerizing and magnetic language, continuously transforms its appearance, and lets you leave with the only desire to return again and again. Marrakech is not a city to visit. Marrakech is an experience to live.

“Habibi” è il mio omaggio a questa terra, un luogo che lascia un segno indelebile difficile da dimenticare; selezionare questi scatti mi ha fatto rivivere storie, emozioni ed esperienze che ho collezionato nel mio ultimo viaggio. Marrakech mostra qui le sue molteplici sfumature e affascinanti contrasti: le anguste e caotiche vie della Medina, dei suoi souk e la quiete delle terrazze che affacciano sui monti dell’ Atlante, la luce calda e avvolgente che ricopre d’oro tutta la città e le sfumature dei tramonti ; il caos ipnotizzante del traffico e il silenzio del deserto alle porte della città. Le azioni più semplici e ordinarie si trasformano in questo luogo in esperienze affascinanti ed esotiche; come il semplice soffermarsi ad ascoltare il potente richiamo del muezzin che si leva sopra il brusio della città. La città parla una lingua ipnotizzante e magnetica, trasforma continuamente il suo aspetto e ti lascia andare via con l’unico desiderio di tornare ancora e ancora. Marrakech non è una città da visitare. Marrakech è un’esperienza da vivere.
