Blurb/Shorttext:
Anna Dzērve is a Latvian photographer who works with the analog medium. Anna’s works are often erotic, mysterious and has some magic surrealism characteristics. All of her photos are taken in her bedroom, most of them on her bed and the main light source used is a projector. Using these tools and building a relationship with her models Anna achieves to portray the behind the scenes of her womanhood, ego and exhibitionist tendencies. Her works embrace all of it – brutal aggression, gentle dreaminess and humour. They are an outlet for her thoughts, hardships and imagination including themes of feminism, horror, love and depression.
