Die Kinder und Jugendlichen aus fast 30 Nationen wurden von Wolfgang Sohn in ihrer Schule porträtiert und mit jedem wurde ein Interview geführt über ihre/seine Träume, Wünsche, Sorgen, Hoffnungen. Das berührende Buch gibt jenen ein Gesicht und verschafft jenen Gehör, die - obwohl oft hier geboren und/oder aufgewachsen - in unserer Gesellschaft häufig nicht gesehen, anerkannt oder wertgeschätzt werden. Diese jungen Menschen, ihre Ideen und Talente, sind ein wertvoller, wichtiger Teil unserer Zukunft. Wir sollten sie fördern. Das Buch wurde ermöglicht durch die Förderung der Stiftung für Kultur und Bildung und entstand aus dem von der Stiftung Sterntaler finanzierten Projekt "Lehrplan der Zukunft" von Ulla Bundrock-Muhs/Querkopf Akademie.
This unique book project shows portraits of students from a community high school in Düsseldorf. The children and young people from almost 30 nations were portrayed by Wolfgang Sohn in their school and an interview was conducted with each of them about his/her dreams, wishes, worries, hopes. The touching book gives a face to those who - although often born and/or raised here - are often not seen, recognized or appreciated in our society. These young people, their ideas and talents, are a valuable, important part of our future. We should encourage them. The book was made possible by funding from the Foundation for Culture and Education and grew out of the "Curriculum of the Future" project by Ulla Bundrock-Muhs/Querkopf Akademie, which was funded by the Sterntaler Foundation.
