My photography project "Tangshan City" focuses on the history and current situation of Tangshan City, Hebei Province, China. Tangshan, a city that has experienced the earthquake that shocked the world in 1976 and the violent incidents in recent years, made me deeply feel the fragility and powerlessness of life, as well as the deep cracks and wounds in this city. I used ROLLEIFLEX dual-reflex camera to record the current situation of Tangshan for a long time. In the viewfinder, I saw people's sad expressions, and I saw the magical realism colors revealed by the social and urban landscape. These fragments together drew a picture of The Times. Tangshan is not only a microcosm of northern Chinese cities, but also reflects the changes and development of contemporary Chinese society and culture to a certain extent.
我的摄影书《唐山》关注的是中国河北省唐山市的历史与现状。唐山，这座经历了1976年震惊世界的大地震和近些年来暴力事件的城市，让我深刻感受到生命的脆弱和无力，以及这个城市深藏的裂痕与伤痛。我使用ROLLEIFLEX双反相机长期记录唐山的现状，我通过取景器观察人们的神情，也看到了社会和城市的景观透露着的魔幻现实主义色彩，这些碎片共同绘制了一幅时代画卷。唐山不仅仅是中国北方城市的缩影，它也在一定程度上反映了现今阶段的社会文化变迁和发展。
