Fabian Freese wurde 1982 in Wuppertal geboren. Von 2006 bis 2011 studierte er an der Freien Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Essen. Schon zu Zeiten des Studiums stellte Freese international aus, mittlerweile waren seine Arbeiten auf Ausstellungen in vielen Ländern Europas, Amerikas, Asiens und Australiens zu sehen. Seine Arbeit ist eine Kombination aus Fotografie ( Lightpainting mit Langzeitbelichtungen) und malerisch grafischen Elementen in Form von Streifen. Er nutzt die Fotografie unter den Gesichtspunkten der Malerei.
"Ich bewege mich auf der Grenze zwischen Malerei und Fotografie und nutze das eine, um das andere im Hinblick auf das visuelle Interesse zu ergänzen."

Fabian Freese was born in Wuppertal in 1982. From 2006 to 2011 he studied at the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Essen.  Already at the time of study Freese exhibited internationally, meanwhile his work has been seen at exhibitions in many countries in Europe, America, Asia and Australia. His work is a combination of photography (light painting with long exposures) and painterly graphic elements in the form of stripes. He uses photography from the point of view of painting.
