Title: LOOKING FOR A MUSE
Subtitle: VISUAL STORY OF A SILENT DIALOGUE
Blurb/Shorttext:
The relationship between an artist and his model is complex and often introspective.
Each movement, each glance captured reveals an aspect of the model as well as of the artist’s. It's a silent dialogue between two worlds that meet through the process of creation.
The muse becomes a catalyst for inspiration. It's a visual narrative of a never-ending quest for these magical moments that are sometimes created between the artist and his muse.
My album project is the fruit of collaboration with Minh-Ly, my model, who has inspired my work in painting as well as in photography for the last 3 years.
Minh-Ly is a well-known model and much sought-after by many leading photographers around the globe who work in such fields as glamour, fashion, and nude.
Even though the project is indeed a personal one, I have reserved a chapter of the book for Minh-Ly's work as an International art travelling model.
The content, divided into 8 chapters, and there are three introductions:
mine, hers, and one of an art critic.
Each chapter, accompanied by an epigraph (a quotation from a poem or text), offers an aspect of Minh-Li’s art of posing and/or one of the subjects of our work.
