Blurb:

Sensitometry is the scientific study of light-sensitive materials, especially photographic film.

Photography has always been my bridge into other people’s lives and cultures—a way to explore the world through curiosity, to pursue my own interests, and to share the diversity of human experience with others. It is both a window and a mirror: revealing, connecting, and sometimes challenging what we think we know.

My journey began with a fascination for light—not just how it touches the surface, but how it shapes emotion, memory, and meaning. Over the years, that curiosity has evolved into a career rooted in both the technical and the poetic. I’ve studied the craft at the Brooks Institute of Photography, built cameras from scratch, and worked alongside artists whose vision and dedication continue to inspire me. From small intimate portraits to large-scale productions, every frame has been part of an ongoing search: for feeling, for form, for truth.

This book is a continuation of that search. The Sensitometrist is not a self-portrait but a lens—an invitation to observe how light interacts with the lives we live and the stories we tell. These images are not definitive statements but reflections of a process. They measure not only exposure and shadow, but attention, care, and wonder.
I offer them here, humbly, as a record of that pursuit.
