Béatrice Burel (née en 1981) est une artiste plasticienne française ayant exposé en France et à l’étranger notamment en Europe, aux Etats-Unis et en Asie. Cet ouvrage, fruit d’une collaboration avec la galeriste Agnès Szaboova, retrace le parcours de l’artiste. A ce jour, il constitue l’ouvrage le plus complet sur l’œuvre de Burel.

Béatrice Burel (born in 1981) is a French visual artist who has exhibited in France and abroad, particularly in Europe, the United States and Asia. Burel's work places her among French artists exploring the play of materials in an unprecedented way through processes involving the presence of Water: the key element of all her plastic research. Burel is considered an abstract artist but the renderings she obtains on her canvases would almost place her as a hyper-realist artist. Her work on Matter is so close to photographic renderings that these explorations of materials deceive the viewer. This work, the result of a collaboration with gallery owner Agnès Szaboova, retraces the artist’s journey. To date, it constitutes the most complete work on Burel's work.
